Global Conferences Africa (Pty) Ltd is one of the few truly Professional Conference Organisers (PCO's) and Destination Management Companies (DMC's) in Southern Africa. Clients include the United Nations, the World Bank, the World Health Organisation, USAID South Africa, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Oprah Winfrey Foundation, government departments and international associations.

As Professional Conference Organisers and event managers, we specialise in organising large international and local conferences. We also organise other meeting-related events, matching them with suitable function venues throughout South Africa for any number of delegates.

We believe that a conference, congress, convention, symposium or seminar should be an exciting event, with a carefully balanced blend of speakers addressing subject matter that is highly relevant to delegates. In addition, thorough conference planning incorporates relevant supporting social events where appropriate.

PROUD MEMBER OF SAACI
The South African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) has a PCO chapter and operates an accreditation programme for PCO's. Global Conferences Africa has achieved the highest level of accreditation, that of accredited International PCO.

Global Conferences Africa is proud to be the first patron member and has 20 members of its staff registered with SAACI.

When considering appointing a PCO, a question should be, if you are talking to an accredited SAACI PCO and what level of accreditation have they achieved.

This a reassurance that the PCO has the relevant level of experience and has committed to abide by SAACI's code of conduct.

Global Conferences Africa was the first South African PCO to join the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). This allows access to this dynamic association and links to 70 of the top PCO's around the world.
